This is an extreme close up of the damselfly from my watercolor titled "Little Blue". (19x 27 inches) The much publicized photo of the "dragonfly" contaminated with oil from the Deepwater Horizon blowout is actually a damselfly.

Untitled
Yesterday's animals. Our first dragonfly of the year, a belted kingfisher, snowy egret, three great egrets, red-tailed hawk, ladybird beetles, wasps, turkey vulture, jumping spider and a few parachuting spiders.
