Keurig's new "Choose, Brew, Enjoy" TV advert is a large FAIL. There is no mention of recycling the K-Cups or using the K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter. If Keurig is an environmentally responsible company they would mention these points. Apparently they are not.

Of course, there is always the dreadful old-fashioned way of buying locally roasted and ground coffee (yeah, I know, I'm spoiled where I live) instead of that stuff that comes in plastic. I've always refused to buy those on the grounds that they are such a huge waste of packaging. And really expensive too. On our filter machine, we don't use filter paper for the same reason.
All companies should be required to say something about recycling if they produce a product that creates waste that can be recycled.
