HAPPY REAL DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY!! Yes, it's actually July 2nd

Page 137 ("John Adams") "...Thomas McKean of Delaware appears not to have signed until January 1777, which made him the last." Page 138 ("John Adams") Independence was achieved, ""His Britannic Majesty acknowledges the said United States . . . to be free, sovereign and independent states." "Done at Paris," read the final line, "this third day of September, in the the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and eighty three." The mighty Revolution had ended.
